3. Mango Sticky Rice:


Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sticky rice
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and sliced
  • Toasted sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Rinse the sticky rice under cold water. Soak the rice for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight.
  2. Drain the soaked rice and transfer it to a steamer basket lined with cheesecloth.
  3. Steam the rice over boiling water for 25-30 minutes, or until tender and cooked through.
  4. In a small saucepan, heat the coconut milk, sugar, and salt over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is smooth.

4. Mango Srikhand:

Mango srikhand is mostly found in Gujarati houses. They love to have aam ras or shrikhand in the lunch.

Ingredients:

  • 600 gms Hung curd
  • ⅓ cup Caster sugar
  • 1 cup Prepared Aamras
  • 6-7 Saffron strands
  • ¼ cup Alphonso mangoes, cut into cube

Instruction:

  1. In one large bowl, add hung curd.
  2. Whisk it until it comes in nice creamy texture. Now, add sugar, aamras, saffron and mix it well.
  3. Garnish it with mango and almonds or your favourite dryfruits.
